Pikes Peak Cog Railway

Pikes Peak, “America’s Mountain”, where the song “America the Beautiful” was inspired is a Colorado attraction not to be missed! For 115 years, the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway (the world's highest cog train, the highest Colorado train AND the highest train in the United States) has taken passengers to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak. It’s a MUST DO when visiting the area!

Banana Walnut Stuffed French Toast
Holden House 1902 Victorian Bed & Breakfast

16 slices Texas Toast	½ c. milk
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened	½ tsp. vanilla extract
4 sliced bananas	Chopped walnuts (optional)
4 eggs	4 eggs

Spread cream cheese on all slices of bread. Dip bread slices in egg, milk and vanilla mixture. Place banana slices and nuts in half the bread slices. Top with remaining slices. Bake on cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Serve with maple syrup and whipped topping. Serves 4
