"The Inns of the Pikes Peak Area Bed & Breakfast Assn. (PPABB) are a diverse collection of Classic Victorian, Modern Mountain and Upscale Contemporary homes. They offer a wide variety of services, amenities and unique approaches to the 'Art of Hospitality' and the business of food and accommodations. But the one thing that all of these Inns share, is the commanding presence of Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain".

Pikes Peak is a unique destination for your Colorado vacation. When measured in feet, at 14,110, Pikes Peak doesn't even rank in the top 20 in the entire state of Colorado. However, when measured in shear grandeur, accessibility, viewability, and importance, it should be # 1! Pikes Peak rules the Colorado Springs area skyline. It's no wonder the song "America the Beautiful" was inspired by Kathryn Lee Bates after she visited the top of Pikes Peak. From the South, North, East and West the Peak presents spectacular and unparalleled vistas of its ever-changing terrain. A hike up and back takes about 11 hours (prepare thyself) - unless you run marathons (3:21:32). A drive up and back takes about 3 hours. The Cog Train (up and back) also takes 3 hours. And you can't forget the Pikes Peak Ascent, where dedicated runners race to the top, and back down. In other words, you can't miss it, so don't.

Whether Pikes Peak is the focus of your trip to our wonderful part of Colorado or just a backdrop to your Rocky Mountain vacation, there's always lots to see and do. Your hosts during your stay (at any of our member inns) will be able to provide directions, advice, reservations and opinions about what best suits your time, interest and activity level. To get started thinking about and planning your trip to Pikes Peak, select a location from the drop-down menu above for information about area attractions, such as the Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Pike National Forest, and more.
