Innkeepers Respond to Local Tragedies

With Spirit of Christmas Future

Residents and guests invited to join the effort.

Eleven is a date, a number emblazoned in our memory. Hearts and wallets opened in an unprecedented manner. Travelers delayed or cancelled trips. However, innkeepers, those who provide an atmosphere of warm hospitality, who season by season demonstrate an eagerness to provide a place to re-create, to refresh ones life, question and seek additional ways to "be there" for fellow citizens.

The Bed and Breakfasts of the Pikes Peak Area will as a group donate to local charities up to 11% of revenues for the entire month of January 2002. The gifts will be given to local groups such as The Pikes Peak Mental Health Organization, Care and Share, local Firemen’s Fund and the local Red Cross.

These local organizations serve people who may never be able to enjoy the hospitality offered by the thirty-six participating inns of the Pikes Peak region. BBPPA invites guests far and near to join them in assisting local charities by finding their own sense of inner renewal at the donating Bed and Breakfast.
